Hike in a Spectacular Wildlife Habitat...

A few days ago I decided to explore the west coast of Ontario.
Here I discovered the most beautiful and very interesting Hullett Provincial Wildlife Area
a major wetland habitat in southwestern Ontario.
I have visited many parks enjoyed my long walks, the diversity of fauna, flora, fungi and lichens.
When I arrived on a warm and sunny autumn day I fell in love with this area.

I hiked along the 12 km trails and 20 km of dykes tops.
2200 hectares of mixed terrain, open waters, swamps and marshes providing habitat for birds ,
mammals, reptiles, amphibians and plants. Photographed some wildflowers, forests and marshes.
When I left to drive back home I knew I'll be back soon.
